Magna's Easter Party

The Easter bunny came to visit our school. We had so much fun watching the Easter bunny dance and we all got our pictures taken with him. This is our Pre-School class enjoying their time with the Easter bunny before their egg hunt.

This is Mr.Tyson and Ms. Lacy's school age class saying HAPPY EASTER!! with the Easter bunny. We all tried sitting on the Easter bunnys lap at the same time but it didn't work out so well. The Easter bunny brought us all lots of yummy treats and we had a huge egg hunt.

They found all their eggs.. YAY!!!!!!

Spring is here!

In March the children were learning about Community Helpers and as part of our curriculum they were able to go to our local firestation on a field trip! Miss Mandi's and Miss Characa's class were scheduled to go on two different dates but on the day that Miss Characa's class went to the field trip they got a call! So we combined both classes and the kids took the walk over to the firestation. They came back so happy and excited. We had a lot of children wanting to be firemen after this day :D

EASTER PARTY!!!!!

We had the funnest Easter Party!!! We even got a special visit from the Easter bunny, (played by Miss Olga) even though some children didn't feel that way.

The kids behaved so well in preparation for his/her visit, "since the Easter Bunny only visits well behaved children because he is shy" haha

The babies had such mixed emotions over seeing the bunny! Some definitely did not like it, while others stared. It was the first time seeing the Easter Bunny for each of these babies!

Love is all around in February!

Miss Mandi's class went on a valentine heart hunt. The kids had to search for their hearts then sort them into size and colors. They are getting very good at counting and sorting, we love our 2 and 3 year old class!

It was the cutest thing watching the babies try to decorate cookies. They mainly licked the frosting off :D

Miss Characa's class ha a grat time decorting cookies and playing games. We asked everyone in the school to wear pink, red, or white and it made the day so much better!!

Our baby room wants to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day! Miss Shannon does such great job of finding age appropriate activities for our little ones. They get to celebrate the holidays along with everyone else and they love it!

Winter Fun!

We have had such a fun winter!!! We started out December by making and decorating gingerbread houses. Our 2 and 3 year old preschool seemed to enjoy it the most! The children were mesmerized by the amout of candy and had such a hard time not eating it. In fact some of the children would wait til Ms. Mandi wasn't looking to pop a candy in their mouth! They would then try to act discrete.... IT WAS PRICELESS. Needless to say we had some good laughs:) Ms. Characas Preschool class also got to make their own gingerbread houses and they did AMAZING!

The children worked really hard all of November and most of December to learn Christmas songs. Both of our preschool classes got the opportunity to go caroling at the Elderly home up the street. It was such a chilly day but they children were brave and did the mile walk. We want to thank our parent volunteers Kaiulani Michel and Amber Mayhew. Some of the songs the children sang were, Rudolf the Red Nose Raindeer, Silent Night, The Very Best Part of Christmas time, and Jingle Bells. Some of the kids got a little shy...but there were others that were more than excited and sang with all they had!! The elderly were extremely grateful to the school and the children.
